I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work that Variety The Children's Charity do; I believe in the work that Variety does to help children - and I'm going to do everything I can - to spread more awareness and change more children's lives.
All kids deserve a fair go; that’s why Variety helps children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs by granting equipment, providing scholarships and running kids events. Anything you can give will truly make a difference.
I was brainstorming how I could help fundraise and I’ve decided to throw a charity fashion show. A fun fact about me, is that while I’m currently studying law at ANU, I’m also a fashion designer. I've shadowed Greedilous, Lie and Tibaeg and worked at Paris Fashion Week. I’ve helped style Beyoncé, Anne Hathaway, Paris Hilton and Airports.
Fashion is my life, and I'm very proud of my collections (made with 100% silk and 100% ethical labour). I've sold a family heirloom, put my life savings and secured sponsorships to make this collection so trust me - your eyes and soul will be entertained. It's not an event to miss!
I invite you to attend my charity fashion show, to help me help others. There will be a runway show with over 40 models, a funky choreographed dance and a special guest lecture on textile sustainability.
I made this collection of clothes because I’m passionate about helping all disadvantaged children, and especially so when they need help getting a better education. I would like for girls to feel supported, and feel encouraged to be smart, creative, feminine and strong if they want to be, and not feel like they have to choose between them. I made this collection as a form of protest. Protest against mindless consumption, against the pre-scripted confines of societal success, protest against comparison and self doubt, protest against gender and age discrimination, and protest about not speaking up when you need to make a stand.
Models have been cast to reflect all that is beautiful; namely, with variety - because that’s what makes us beautiful.
Clothes should be just about self expression and art. That's what I aspire all my clothes to do. When the external matches the internal, it's a really beautiful synergy, a good outfit can help your personality truly shine. I hope to make clothes where you can dress to express, with the same joy a little girl feels while playing dressing up - expressing yourself and taking pride in your appearance is a virtue, however, only when it’s done with awareness and intentionality. My designs are made with the utmost care and highest quality to help create a personal style that will last a lifetime.
